FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds continued their dominant district campaign, completing their regular season on Friday against the Quanah Lady Indians.
The Lady Winds started the scoring in the bottom of the first inning, taking an 11-0 lead.
Floydada continued their scoring in the bottom of the second, scoring six runs, and ultimately the victory 17-0 after run ruling the Lady Indians.
Lady Winds pitcher Maddie Pyle secured the no-hitter with eight strikeouts.
Floydada (27-2, 6-0) claims their seventh district title in a row and will look ahead to their first round matchup against Highland Park.
