LOCKNEY, TX – A new resource aimed at supporting families and individuals in the community is expanding its availability in Lockney, as The Outcome Closet announces updated open hours and continued services for those in need.
Operated by The Outcome, The Outcome Closet is now open to the public on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at its location on West Poplar Street. The closet serves as a hub for essential items, offering free resources made possible through donations from community members.
The space is currently undergoing organization and restocking as the program continues to grow in its new location. Despite the ongoing setup, visitors can still access a variety of items designed to meet everyday needs. Available supplies include grocery item packs consisting of canned goods, as well as clothing and shoes for both children and adults. Grocery packs are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
The initiative reflects a strong spirit of local generosity, with all items provided at no cost and given in good faith by neighbors supporting one another. In addition to serving those in need, The Outcome Closet is also seeking volunteers to assist with organizing, stocking, and daily operations as demand continues to increase.
Community support has played a key role in the program’s success, including contributions from individuals such as Margaret Schacht, whose continued support has helped advance the mission.
As The Outcome Closet continues to grow, it remains focused on providing accessible resources and fostering a sense of unity and care throughout the Lockney community and surrounding areas.
