FLOYD COUNTY, TX – Floydada Collegiate ISD honored several longtime staff members during its Annual Retirement Reception held Tuesday, May 12, at the Serrato Sisters Venue, celebrating the dedication and years of service these employees have given to the district and community.
This year’s retirees include Josie Torrez, Sonya Glass, Carmelita Rodriguez, Tammie Shuping, Maria Cuellar, and Mae Duran.
Family, friends, coworkers, and district staff gathered to recognize each retiree’s contributions to FCISD and to thank them for the impact they have made on students, staff, and the school community throughout their careers.
District officials expressed their appreciation to the retirees for their commitment and service, while also wishing them the very best as they begin a new chapter in retirement.
The reception served as both a celebration and a heartfelt farewell for a group of employees whose work has helped shape the district over the years.
