FLOYDADA, TX – Floydada Independent School District has announced an update to its schedule for Tuesday, January 27. According to district officials, there will be no school on Tuesday. Classes are expected to resume as regularly scheduled on Wednesday, pending continued improvement in conditions.
“We should be able to resume classes as regularly scheduled on Wednesday. Thank you,” the district shared in its message to families.
While classes are canceled, Floydada ISD athletics are still scheduled to continue as planned at this time. The Whirlwind basketball teams will compete in district play Tuesday evening in Tahoka.
