LUBBOCK, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds battled in their final non-district game of the season against the Trinity Christian Lady Lions.
Both teams would get one run in the first inning making it 1-1.
The Lady Winds would then regain their lead adding two runs in the top of the second, going up 3-1.
Floydada would then continue to add to their lead with seven in the third, nine in the fourth, and four in the fifth inning to secure the victory 23-6.
The #1-ranked Lady Winds improve to 19-2 overall and will start district play against Lockney on Tuesday.
