LOCKNEY, TX – Lockney Elementary School is preparing to celebrate the accomplishments of its students as the 2025–2026 school year comes to a close with its annual End of Year Awards Ceremonies.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, and will take place in the Lockney Elementary Cafeteria. Families, friends, and community members are invited to attend and help recognize the hard work and achievements of the school’s Little Longhorns from kindergarten through fifth grade.
The ceremony will be divided into two sessions to accommodate all grade levels. Students in kindergarten through fourth grade will be recognized beginning at 9:30 a.m., followed by the fifth-grade awards presentation at 11:30 a.m. Each segment will highlight student success across academics, leadership, and character throughout the school year.
Students are encouraged to dress in their “Sunday Best” as they take part in this special occasion celebrating their efforts and growth. Parents are welcome to take their children home following the ceremony. All students will have the opportunity to pick up a sack lunch from the cafeteria before dismissal.
The End of Year Awards Ceremonies serve as a meaningful tradition for Lockney Elementary, offering a moment to reflect on a successful school year and to honor the dedication and accomplishments of its students.
